At the time he sent me the ex4 file - it was sufficient and did the work at that time - not the Mql4 file - I want to try and use it again, I have written to him but there is no reply - I do not know if he is still alive or whatever. The indicator is basically a non repainting Macd with a number of levels in the Macd body.
Dear Experts, I have been searching for an EX4 to MQ4 Decompiler or converter. So many scammers out there for decompiler ea build 600+'s service. Until recently a decompilation has not been a big problem. It cost less than $10 and took about a minute. There are even standalone tool for decompilation called «EX4 decompiler». Now it's different. Starting from MetaTrader 4 build 600, MQ4 files compile to native code (like DLL). As a result the EX4 decompiler unfortunately can no longer be.
How can I get the code to make new adjustments? If not maybe some one can put me onto another non repainting Macd to see if it will do the same for me.
It contains free maps of the entire world as well as official aviation charts for many countries.

The fact that someone has used other tools to decompile it does not mean he made or granted the source code available for viewing or modification. The posting of an unauthorised decompiled program is in effect distribution and very definitely illegal. It is accepted throughout the world (go do some research) that unless specifically granted rights to do so decompilation is only acceptable in a few circumstances and you can be assured that for modification, distribution, access to IP, resale, etc are not reason enough. In your scenario you are saying it is okay for you to decompile say Microsoft Word, and then post the source code here on the internet because they made Word runtime product available which they have to do for users to be able to run it. Think again so stop promoting theft and go look at his user status now.
