I finally tried it out with the time limited 1 month license (like 10 Euro or something).
Within two days i had a gunnery score of 100%, was commanding two tank platoons with mechanized infantry attached, and blowing up t-80s at 1.8 kilometers distance. Yeah it sure *is* hard to survive an engagement, but the basics are easy to learn, and it's great fun if you're looking for a good battlefield atmosphere and some realism. The included scenarios can be overwhelming, but simple yet believable engagements can be set up, and tailored to your taste in the included editor. And it doesn't require a degree in rocket physics (like the Arma Editor). This might be a military training tool. But it's also one heck of a fun game if you can spend just two days to get into it. I'd recommend it.
