One was upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 when the drive stopped working. I also got a brand new HP desktop that came with windows 10. The Drive didn't work in it either until I put in a different USB 3.0 card.

I would say this is a windows issue.since it works fine on the same hardware with windows 7 (and even Linux for that matter).
